Bill
Filipiak is an independent writer, producer, engineer and director of television
and radio. As a Creative Director
and Producer Bill has worked with people like radio greats Gary
Owens, Johnny
Hayes, Huggy Bear and Presidential son Michael
Reagan. He’s
also worked with hundreds of actors including veterans such as Dick
Gautier,
Shelly Fabare, Steve
Franken, Naomi Judd and new comers like “Judging
Amy’s” Tim
Omundson, Dan Hagan, Annie Wood and Lynn Maclean.
His
career in radio took him from WKBW in Buffalo, New York to KZLA, KRLA, KLSX
& KLAC in Los Angeles and eventually a job as Creative Director for Premiere
Radio Networks. He’s written and
produced thousands of radio commercials for local and national campaigns,
television commercials for American Forces Radio & Television
Services, over
1500 parody songs for network radio, and has worked with some of the best voices
in the industry including the legendary Don
Messick.
Bill
has also been a music editor for network television, a producer for network
radio and a director of voice over for countless radio and television
commercials. After spending five years will Film House Inc. as a producer and
Creative Director overseeing creative of commercials for the American Forces
Radio & Television Services Bill spent a season with the Nashville Predators
producing their pre-game show on Fox Sports Net. He then helped rivals.com
launch their new video production arm (amp.rivals.com). He now works
independently as a producer and director and recently launched
www.projectmemories.com.
Bill
currently lives in Nashville with his wife Misti, their daughters Alexandra and
E.J. and dogs George
and Daisy.
